what is the best romance,action,fantasy anime series you ever watched?

something that has sad parts and the graphic is clear and not old while not too old. Something like a person is fighting for his or her love. Something that has a little drama not a lot.

Robotech/Macross, although I guess it would be considered old it’s not “funny” old. And of course it’s a classic.
