Fantasy character question:Being one of the chosen ones?
Does that count as being part of royalty or not?
(Like say in the context of a story, kids are chosen to become a part of a group that rids the world of evil or something similar.
child of ape-different strokes, different folks
I prefer writing in fantasy and realistic fiction myself.
Probably depends on the set-up… reigning monarchy probably wouldn’t be too happy to hand over to some farm-boy with an heirloom. Democratic system wouldn’t hand over just for that either.
They’d probably get a fancy title of some sort, that’s only fair.
It’s usually solved by having them defeat the evil monarchy, or be a long-lost heir ^_^
