It is the lure of competition. They are everywhere. They are even called the recent vague or reality TV Smash Hits as American Idol, Survivor and The Amazing Race. All these shows are winning some money at the end.
But why are so many, and what attracts people to them? Contest attracts people. The promise of getting something for nothing is extremely attractive.

8. You build a sense of loyalty with their visitors. They love that you give them the opportunity to have fun and want to reciprocate by buying your products.
To run an effective competition, it must be able to generate repeat traffic consistently. Allowing people to enter each day or weekly will achieve this goal.
