Why Square Enix Final Fantasy XIV exclusively for the PS3?

I think it would make more profits if it was for the Xbox 360.

I'm thinking that if they are PS3 exclusive and more people would get PS3 just to get the new game FFXIV. A good number of consoles sold> Many games sold, and after they buy a PS3 it could continue to buy more PS3 games that way, they earn more money then they have.
