Fantasy Series Reviews
what is the criterion for complete review of a fantastic book / novel.?
I have to do a review of a book for school, but I really do not know the standards for reviews of fantasy books. For example, one of the books "The Chronicles of Narnia" series. If Please help !!!!!!!!!! quickly. And thank you in advance.
Talk to your teacher for sure. There is no correct way to criticize a book, and to do things you need to talk to your teacher. For example, "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" can be viewed from many angles. From a historical perspective, it comes from CS Lewis who was a contemporary of JRR Tolkien, they belonged to a literary club who came together and everyone has criticized the work of others. In this sense two TLTW & TW and lord of the rings are linked. Both men were deeply affected by the First World War, how it corresponds to the experience in the book? There are also religious. Lewis was a devout Christian, how this influences the style of writing the book? And the characters? Technically, how is the book written? Who is its audience? Does it effectively communicate its meaning? And you, how the book affected you personally? Does it speak to you in a way the author may not have intended? So talk to your teacher to discover what they want, then the critical book accordingly. Tony
