Fantasy Children’s Novels

As a mother and a fan of science fiction, I really hope my children will grow up to enjoy it too. So far, they are too young to read novels, but this does not mean I can not get started.
1. For science fiction
Some films science fiction appeal to children, even at a very young age. Think of the first Star Wars movie, for example. It is still a generally good movie, and many children 5 years that I know are absolutely crazy about him.
2. Comic Books
Whether or not you are in yourself, many comic books contain elements of science fiction, especially with most superheroes. The vivid illustrations and plot lines fast can be very entertaining for children not prepared for harder stories … and of course the benefit may continue for a lifetime.
3. Television
A variety of children's shows also have elements of science fiction. What you can find the will vary enormously age, and you may have to constantly look at the watch that you want your children will love. But there are some great choices there.
And as they get old enough, you can show them your own favorites
4. Science Fiction Novels
Ahh, my personal favorite! Even if my children are too young to read them by themselves, my husband and I are working on strengthening their interest already.
Firstly, they of course we see them play all the time. It is a great way to generate interest in reading in general. If they see you reading, children will read.
You can choose children's books with elements of science fiction in them. Most children love stories with rockets and aliens in them. You do not have to worry about scientific accuracy much in the early years, of course.
We also always allowed them to look at the books we have. I once tried hard to get video of my daughter "reading" Riverworld. She recited Cinderella, indeed, but I still thought it was cute that she has chosen a novel by science-fiction to pretend with.
As She learned to read, we have encouraged to realize how it can play in picking a science-fiction and showing him that she already knows most words. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, for those wondering.
And of course, once they are old enough, heads of relevant books. I remember starting in the third year with Star Beast, The Heinlein.
Picking appropriate books can be difficult. Luckily I still have hardly ever science fiction novel I ever read, so it is a good selection of young people there. But if you know if your child likes lots of action, or violence do not or no longer in the fantasy, you can choose appropriate titles.
And I must admit, there is a certain pleasure to teach my children to enjoy books that my wife's parents to disapprove. Strongly endorse reading, but only the good kind. Unaware which is just fun.
