… look how many pre-season you can! Seeing how a rookie is used by his team help you get a better understanding of how it is useful to his team. If a rookie RB is running the ball on downs situation only, could be a warning sign. However, if as a rookie RB Knowshon Moreno can catch the ball, run well on all downs, and also convert in situations of short film, and the Denver Broncos judge frequently in spots in the preseason, it's a great sign for you.

… pay particular attention to their progress in season! A rookie may not get much attention in week 1 or 2, then begin to take off week 3. Rookies in week after week of football is sometimes an injury or an opportunity far from a starting point. Matt Ryan threw a touchdown in depth on his first pass as a pro for Atlanta, and began to improve immediately, while tight end John Carlson for Seattle took a while to get there.

… Draft a rookie on the Draft Day! I'm serious, unless you want to take a flyer on a rookie during the last 2 or 3 rounds of your draft, do not draft a rookie at all. It is just too hit or miss, regardless of how well you think you know football. I'm sure you've seen people pick Darren McFadden in the early rounds last year. Then he had any foot problems year, and scored only 4 times, starting just 5 games. The owners who drafted him in the 5th round or 6th took a huge chance, while the most famous producers have been taken up.

fall in love … with recruits who have played for your favorite college team! I am a fanatic, foaming at the mouth Georgia Bulldogs fan, and I really nothing more than to see Denver Detroit Knowshon Moreno and Matthew Stafford have years Fantasy enormous. But I am even contemplating picking them? NO! Some Jester choose Stafford in the cycle of 6th or 7th and Moreno in the 5th or 6th, and I'll take the time-tested talent instead.
To summarize, recruits can produce impressive results for you, but it is best to collect during the year, although their role is better defined for their team. Skip the development of a rookie at all, and enjoy success in Fantasy 2009.
