Cbs Fantasy Football

Ah yes, baseball is finally back! Hopefully your fantasy baseball teams are drafted and ready to go. So it is only a game, look over a couple fantasy implications of the action last night between the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets:
Yadier bats 5th Molina Taguchi started in left field. One of the surprises was to see Yadier Molina batting 5th in the eleventh day of the cardinals last night and So Taguchi from of left field. When you look deeper, it was really not so surprising given the number horrible Edmonds & cons Duncan had left handed pitching last year. Molina will bat well against lefties last year either, but def, 299 against them in 2005. While Taguchi will return to his backup outfielder role as the rollers season, Molina bears watching. Not only did he have a monster spring, but he also had 2 hits in the game at the point # 5. Molina is likely to go back down the start order Tuesday against the veteran righthander Orlando Hernandez, but if it continues to move in the lineup against lefties and continues its spring production, await RBI opportunities if you play it right.
Glavine is a stud, Carpenter is a failure. It the first game of the year, so you should not consider much of this game …. Unless it becomes a trend. For Glavine, 6 hits in 6 rounds with only 1 minute's walk was good. However, he only had 2 strikeouts, which raises the question whether he can repeat his K per 9 starting last year. Your money should be set to "no" given his age, but he did not play against the Cardinals, So let's wait it out before drawing conclusions. Just something to keep in the back of your mind. Chris Carpenter took a tough match but hey, it cons the Mets. Went 6 innings, had only 1 minute walk, but killed on 9 hits. He was only able to 3 batters blocked and could not get this blocked when it is needed most. Again, it is extremely early, so let's move on. Like Glavine situation, there is just something to watch in the next Release.
That's IT for the first day, but there will be many more than once a day 2 is finished. Can not wait to see what unfolds!
